Matt Toll is an award winning cinematographer with 25 years experience working both in Australia and internationally on advertisements, documentaries, television and feature films. He is know for his candid raw imagery and ability to capture the heart of the subject matter at hand.

As an assistant, Matt got to learn from some of the best cinematographers in the world, working in key positions on many high profile feature films including:

• The Thin Red line

• The Matrix

• Moulin Rouge

• Mission Impossible 2

• Mad Max Fury Road

Since turning his hand to shooting his own work, in recent years Matt has already accumulated many accolades. He has an AACTA nomination for cinematography for the feature documentary “Gurrumul” and an ACS Golden Tripod award for his work on a NSW Outback Tourism campaign. He was nominated for best cinematography at St. Kilda Film festival for AACTA and MIFF award winning short film “The Egg” and also lensed AACTA award winning and Academy Award nominated short film “The Eleven O’clock”.

• St Kilda Film Festival nomination for best cinematography for the short film “The Egg”

More recently Matt has completed shooting on Hulu’s “Nine Perfect Strangers” and Amazon Prime’s Season 2 of “The Wilds”.
